Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Acme is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Acme follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My husband and I had a great anniversary and thanks for the decorations and card! The bed was very comfy and the room was very clean! We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Update: I had original made my post the day I checked in now this update is after I checked out. The morning we started to pack up, we found a crockroach crawling on the bed. Maybe if they did house keeping everyday vesrse having to stay 3 days before you get house keeping. I did tell the manager on my way out. Her comment was oh, it is not a bedbug it is a crock roach. Like that is supposed to make it better. They took 100 off, but should of done more. For the price you pay for your stay. Come on. The room was clean, the beds are comfy. The room that my daughter and I stayed in was a 2 bed queen, the view out of our windows was less than to be desired. For the price you pay, all the rooms should have a great view of the bay. It did not, it looked right at the other hotel tower. Then you don't get house keeping service unless you stay more than 3 days. Guess what we where only staying for 3 days, go figure. For the price you pay again, you should get house keeping every day as well. It is a bit farther out than expected. Next time I would book a place closer in town. We tried this place, can say we stayed here, don't we would stay again.

First time staying at Grand Traverse Resort. Property is nice. Ok location but you’re really outside of town (if that’s important). We had 6 of us, so we booked one of the cottages overlooking the golf course. Nice views, easy in/out and parking. Lots of amenities in the main complex. Only real complaint was the housekeeping. 6 people in a 3-bed/2-bath unit and we ran out of toilet paper in less than 2 days. Called and asked for more, they sent 1 roll. 6 people in a 2 bathroom unit and they sent 1 roll. Fortunately we got by before leaving, but it just seemed ridiculous. It’s not 2020, I think they can spare a few rolls of TP.
